You’re probably wondering . . .


A system is a step-by-step process that uses people, 

technology or a combination of both to produce
a desired business outcome.

That’s my personal definition.

According to Box Theory, a business system is “a procedure, process, method, or course of action designed to achieve a specific result.”

Notice that a system is not ONLY technology.

You can use technology (or as I like to call them…online tools) to support a business system.

Manual tasks done by real people can also be part of your business system, too. I’m all for using online tools when it makes sense.

Here are a few of the tools that I use in my own business systems that have helped take my business to the next level:

The #1 problem with a lot of businesses these days is that they lack proper systems. And…without proper systems, your business results are inconsistent.

Success DOES NOT and WILL NOT happen with inconsistency or inefficiency.

Without systems in place, you have to work twice as hard to make twice the revenue.

Let’s be real, you don’t have the time for that (because who does?)

Adding systems is just what you need to scale your business in the most efficient and effective way.

Okay, so now you know what a system is and how it helps.

Now you’re probably wondering . . .


Here’s a 3-step System on How to Create a Business System:

 1. Figure Out What You're Spending Your Time On 

Write down exactly what you work on during your work day.

Then assess it at the end of the day.

What do you spend the majority of your time doing?

If you you’re constantly repeating the same petty tasks over and over, then having a system will do you wonders.

Sometimes we spend too much time focusing on tasks that are unnecessary and not enough time focusing on the tasks that are critical to further our businesses.

2. Pick One Thing to Systematize

There are always tons of areas you can systematize.

However, when you think of everything…it gets overwhelming and you start spinning your wheels and NOTHING gets done.

Start with one business system first.

Get it in place – and then go to the next.

Whether you want to delegate tasks to a virtual assistant or use that online tool you’ve been thinking about, having a system can save you time, increase your productivity, and save your sanity.

3. Give it 90 Days

Patience is a virtue.

After you’ve implemented your system, give it at least three months to start showing results.

Schedule some time to evaluate if your new system is working for you (or not.)

If it is, great…work on improving it. If it’s NOT working, create a new one.

Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.
